Every September FIRST® sets a brand-new game, and every team in the world gets the same problem and the same few months to solve it. We start from a blank page each season: design, CAD, manufacturing, code and driving, all in our lab in Oeiras.
Three crews share the work. Hardware builds the drivetrain, intake and launcher. Software writes the code that plays the first thirty seconds of every match with nobody driving, and the driver assists for the rest. Outreach tells the story and finds the backing, because there is no school funding behind any of it.
